Peri-menopause is the period before you enter the menopause. This can start in your late thirties, but for many, symptoms are more noticeable from 40+
You may not be aware of these as this is also a time in a woman’s life when we have a multitude of demands on our time and energy.
Anxiety, exhaustion, irritability, low mood, weight gain and other symptoms can easily be dismissed as you’re frantically try to keep all the balls in the air.
Your health, well-being and self-care are pushed to the bottom of your to-do list, but every day you’re feeling more off balance and out of control.

Mindfulness practice is like physical exercise, if we do more we tend to get more benefit.
Although mindfulness cannot entirely remove the symptoms of menopause, it can help you deal with them more calmly and compassionately.
It is appropriate for people new to mindfulness, anyone who has tried mindfulness before, either a course or an app or perhaps read a book and wants the structure of a course led by an experienced teacher.
